Bengaluru Police Investigate Mysterious Death of Uzbekistan Woman

Bengaluru police are currently conducting an investigation into the mysterious death of a 37-year-old Uzbekistan woman at a hotel in the city. The woman, identified as Zareena, was discovered deceased in her room at Jagadish Hotel in Bengaluru’s Seshadripuram area.

Zareena had recently arrived in Bengaluru on a tourist visa, just four days prior to the incident.

According to authorities, hotel staff attempted to contact Zareena in her room on the second floor yesterday afternoon at 4.30 pm. After receiving no response, they used a master key to unlock the door and tragically found her lifeless.

The hotel manager promptly reported the incident, leading police to register a case of mysterious death.

Police Suspect Foul Play

Initial investigations suggest that foul play may be involved in Zareena’s death. Authorities suspect that she may have been smothered and have sent her body to Bowring Hospital for a thorough post-mortem examination.

The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team, along with a trained canine squad, meticulously searched the room for any potential evidence that could shed light on the circumstances surrounding Zareena’s demise. Additionally, the CCTV footage and hotel register are currently under scrutiny to determine if anyone had access to Zareena’s room on the day of her death.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information related to the case to come forward and assist in bringing justice for Zareena.
