Accident – Death – Obituary News : A woman from Uzbekistan was discovered murdered in a hotel room in Bengaluru, Karnataka on Thursday. The victim, identified as Zareena, had arrived in Bengaluru just four days prior on a tourist visa and had checked into a hotel near BDA Bridge in the Seshadripuram area.

The incident unfolded on Wednesday night around 10:30 pm, when the hotel staff received a call from one of Zareena’s friends expressing concern for her well-being. After repeated attempts to get a response by knocking on the door went unanswered, the staff used a master key to access the room.

Upon entering the room, they were met with a gruesome sight – Zareena’s lifeless body was found on the floor, her face covered in blood. The police were promptly notified, and initial investigations indicated that the Uzbek woman had been the victim of foul play.

Evidence suggested that Zareena had sustained injuries to her face, leading authorities to suspect that she may have been strangled to death. Further investigations also revealed that a man named Rahul Kumar had booked the room for Zareena until March 16.

The hotel manager, Gaurav Kumar Singh, lodged a police complaint in connection with the case, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
