Man Arrested in Connection to Fatal Shooting in Waco, Texas

A 25-year-old man, Bralon Buhl, has been taken into custody by the USMS Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred in Waco, Texas. The incident took place in the 200 Block of Mary Ave, a quiet residential area in the heart of Waco.

Suspect identified Through Video Footage

The Waco Police Department’s Special Crimes Unit was able to identify Buhl as the suspect in the shooting thanks to video footage collected from the scene. This crucial evidence played a significant role in solving the case and bringing the perpetrator to justice.

Charges and Victim Identification

Buhl has been charged with one count of murder and three counts of aggravated assault in connection to the incident. The victim, 41-year-old Gilberto Moralez, was tragically found with a gunshot wound on February 23, 2024, in the peaceful neighbourhood of Mary Ave in Waco. Despite efforts to save his life, Moralez sadly succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The Waco Police Department is urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward. They can contact the authorities at 254-750-7500 or submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 254-753-HELP(4357). A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest in this case.
