A shooting incident that occurred over the weekend in Cumberland County has left residents shocked and concerned as authorities continue to search for the suspect responsible.

Tragic Shooting at Asselta Acres Apartments in Vineland, NJ
In the early hours of Saturday morning, March 9th, tragedy struck at the Asselta Acres Apartments on Axtell Avenue in Vineland. The peaceful community was rocked by violence when 35-year-old Dashon Lee was found in the parking lot, suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Lee was pronounced dead after being rushed to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
Suspect at Large
Authorities have identified 31-year-old Angel A. Aguero of West Chestnut Avenue in Vineland as the primary suspect in the shooting. Aguero has been charged with first-degree murder, as well as possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a handgun.
Armed and Dangerous
Aguero is currently on the run, with law enforcement agencies including the U.S. Marshals Service actively searching for him. Authorities have warned the public that Aguero should be considered armed and dangerous, and if spotted, should not be approached.

Anyone with information regarding Aguero’s whereabouts is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals’ tip line at (877) WANTED-2. As the investigation continues, the public is reminded that all individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
