Tragic Incidents in Rawalpindi and Islamabad

In a series of unfortunate events, two women were brutally murdered by unknown assailants, while two children lost their lives and nine others were injured in gas leakage explosions in different parts of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Women Murdered in Rawalpindi

One of the victims, 28-year-old Asma Yousaf, was found stabbed to death in Ittefaq Town, within the jurisdiction of Police Station Kirpa. Her body was discovered near her residence in the morning and was swiftly taken to PIMS for a postmortem examination. The motive behind the murder remains unknown as investigators from the Homicide Investigation Unit of PS Kirpa work to unravel the mystery. In another tragic incident, a 17-year-old girl named Zahra was found dead with a head wound in front of her house on Range Road. It is believed that she was attacked by unknown perpetrators, who struck her with a heavy object. The police have launched an investigation into both cases, and the families of the victims are left grieving their sudden and senseless loss.

Gas Leakage Blasts in Rawalpindi

Meanwhile, two young children lost their lives in separate gas leakage explosions in Rawalpindi. In one incident at Bhabra Bazaar, a blast caused by a gas leak claimed the lives of seven-month-old Arham and three-year-old Ayat, while their mother Reema sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Holy Family Hospital. Another gas leak explosion on Tipu Road left five individuals, including Ambreen, Perveen, Intezar, Abiha, and Faiz, critically injured and in need of urgent medical attention. Additionally, a third blast on Girja Road left three individuals, Shahzaib, Noor, and Sobia Waqar, in critical condition as they were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

These tragic incidents have left the communities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad in shock and mourning, as the authorities work diligently to uncover the truth behind these senseless acts of violence and accidents.
