Man Arrested After Police Seize Weapons and Narcotics in Hartford Apartment

A man was taken into custody by police in Hartford after a significant discovery of weapons, ammunition, and a substantial amount of narcotics was made during a search of his apartment on Monday.

Investigation Leads to Arrest

Authorities from the Hartford Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Division had been conducting an investigation into a suspect, identified as 34-year-old Robert Lollar, who was believed to be involved in the illegal sale of narcotics as well as being in possession of a firearm in Hartford.

Search Warrant Executed

Following their investigation, detectives obtained a search and seizure warrant and, with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team, carried out a search of Lollar’s residence on Wethersfield Avenue in Hartford.

Items Seized

During the search, law enforcement officials confiscated a Kel-tec 9mm, a Sig Sauer 9mm, a Ruger 9mm, live ammunition, 120 grams of crack cocaine, 103 grams of cocaine, 343 bags of fentanyl, 23 grams of fentanyl, along with a significant amount of U.S. currency and various drug packaging materials.

Charges Filed

Robert Lollar was taken to the Hartford Police Department’s detention facility where he was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, possession of an assault weapon, possession of a high-capacity magazine, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with the intent to sell, and operating a drug factory.

This incident serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to combat illegal drug activity and the dangers associated with the possession and distribution of firearms in our communities.
