RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WSAV) — Two individuals accused of detonating an explosive device at a woman’s residence in Georgia have also been revealed to have planned a disturbing attack involving a python on the victim’s daughter, according to prosecutors.

The suspects, identified as 37-year-old Stephen Glosser and 34-year-old Caleb Kinsey, were formally indicted on multiple federal charges on March 7 in relation to the bombing incident that took place in Richmond Hill the previous year.

During the investigation, it was uncovered that the men utilized an explosive material known as Tannerite, resulting in the detonation that damaged a section of the woman’s home on January 13, 2023. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the explosion.

Although the motive behind the attack remains unclear, NBC News reported that one of the suspects had a previous connection with the woman, although the exact nature of this relationship was not disclosed.

Prosecutors revealed that Glosser and Kinsey had been conducting surveillance on the victim from December 2022 up until the time of the bombing. They had devised a detailed plan to harm, intimidate, or even kill the victim through various means, including shooting arrows at her door.

The disturbing details of the plan included releasing a large python into the victim’s home to attack her daughter, mailing dog excrement or deceased rodents to her residence, and even the gruesome act of scalping the victim, as per court documents.

In an interview with NewsNation affiliate WSAV last year, the victim, Larissa Apperson, expressed her devastation over the incident. She had only moved into her new home on Demeries Lake less than 12 hours before the explosion occurred.

Glosser and Kinsey have been charged with stalking, using explosives to commit a felony, conspiracy to use explosives for a felony, and possession of an unregistered destructive device. Additionally, Kinsey faces further charges of providing false information during the purchase of a firearm and possessing firearms as a convicted felon.

The conspiracy charge carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison, with an additional 10 years if convicted for using explosives to commit a felony.
