Tragic Accident Claims Four Lives on Gaya-Patna National Highway-83

Four individuals met a tragic end on Monday night as a speeding truck ran over their bikes on the Gaya-Patna National Highway-83 near Rampur. The victims, identified as Ravi Prajapati, Jitendra Paswan, Nishant Paswan, and Purushottam Paswan, were on their way to attend a wedding at Chakand market in the district when the unfortunate incident occurred.

According to police reports, all four individuals lost their lives on the spot, while the driver of the truck fled the scene. The residents of Simara village were left in shock as news of the accident spread, prompting locals to rush to the scene in a bid to help the victims. However, their efforts were in vain as the victims had already passed away.

Efforts to Bring Justice

The bodies of the deceased were taken to the Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital (ANMMCH) in Gaya for postmortem examination. Belaganj SHO Inspector Vinay Krishna Prasad confirmed that the truck involved in the accident had been seized, and efforts were underway to apprehend the absconding driver.

As investigations continue into the tragic incident, the community mourns the loss of these young lives and hopes for swift justice to be served.
