Superior, WI (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in western Wisconsin have sadly confirmed the discovery of a Minnesota woman’s body in a state park.

The woman had been reported missing on Wednesday, prompting a swift response from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies located her car shortly after receiving the missing person report, setting off a search operation to find her. 

Car Found at Pattison Park

Authorities found the woman’s car at Pattison Park, located about 20 miles south of Duluth. This location became the focal point of the search efforts to locate the missing woman.

Members from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin DNR, and various volunteer fire departments in northwestern Wisconsin came together to conduct a thorough, multi-day search operation. After days of relentless efforts, the woman’s body was tragically discovered on Saturday morning. 

The woman has been identified as 65-year-old Kim Creager from Washington County, although the news release does not mention her by name. Authorities have confirmed that foul play is not suspected in this heartbreaking incident.
