A quiet afternoon turned into a nightmare for the residents of Tahnee Heights in Malabar Hill, as a 63-year-old woman was found strangled to death in her luxurious apartment on Tuesday. The victim, identified as Jyoti Shah, resided on the 20th floor of the prestigious building with her husband Mukesh, who owns a jewellery showroom in south Mumbai.

The shocking incident unfolded when Mukesh, after leaving for work at noon, returned home around 3 pm to find his wife unresponsive in their bedroom. Frantic, he rushed her to the hospital, only to receive the devastating news of her passing before she could be admitted.
