Driver Flees After Fatal Crash on Creston Road

Early Sunday morning, a tragic incident unfolded on Creston Road in California, resulting in one fatality and severe injuries to two passengers. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a BMW overturned multiple times, causing the passengers to be ejected from the vehicle.

Details of the Crash

The crash occurred around 12:29 a.m. when an unidentified driver was traveling eastbound on Creston Road, west of Neal Springs Road, at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and flip several times. Three passengers were ejected from the car during the rollover.

Tragically, one passenger, a 43-year-old individual from Santa Maria, lost their life in the crash. The other two passengers, identified as Aliandro Torres Gomez, 47, and Carlos S. Torres Diaz, 41, both from Paso Robles, sustained major injuries and were rushed to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Driver Flees the Scene

After the crash, the driver fled the scene and remains at large. Authorities are actively searching for the driver, and the incident is being classified as a hit-and-run. The CHP Templeton Area Office is leading the investigation into the crash, trying to determine the cause of the accident.
