Tragic Accident in Indore Claims Life of Woman and Injures Six Others

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A devastating incident occurred in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Sunday evening, resulting in the loss of a 35-year-old woman’s life and leaving six others injured, including three children. The accident took place at the Pedmi-Khandel turning point in the Kampel area at approximately 4 pm.

Two families, consisting of seven members, were on their way back from a parent-teacher meeting at their children’s school when tragedy struck. The loaded truck, carrying soybean deoiled cake and traveling from Indore to Harda, overturned onto the car they were in as the driver lost control at the turning point. Shockingly, the truck driver and cleaner fled the scene following the accident.

Upon receiving the distressing news, the local Kampel police chowki in-charge, SI Satyendra Singh Sisodiya, immediately launched a rescue operation with the assistance of bystanders to extract the trapped individuals from the car. The rescue efforts were focused on freeing the women and children first, with the car driver being the last to be rescued due to being severely trapped.
