32-Year-Old Lake City Man Charged in Fatal Crash on I-75
A 32-year-old man from Lake City is facing charges following a tragic incident on Sunday afternoon that resulted in the death of his 28-year-old passenger. The driver, identified as Sergio Diaz-Ortiz, was travelling south on I-75 in Columbia County when his pickup truck collided with another vehicle, causing it to flip and collide with a tree.

He was apprehended shortly after and taken into custody at the Columbia County Jail.
