The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has reported an arrest in connection with a homicide that took place on 8th March on the 1200 block of Mount Olivet Road, NE.
According to MPD records, officers were called to the scene following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered a man who had sustained gunshot wounds and had passed away at the location.
The deceased has been identified as Jimmy Thomas Jr., aged 46.
Following investigative efforts, 27-year-old Damon Clark was apprehended and charged with second-degree murder while armed in relation to the incident.
