Hyderabad Woman Found Murdered in Australia

A tragic incident unfolded in the quiet town of Buckley, Australia, as the lifeless body of 36-year-old Chaithanya Swetha Madhagani was discovered in a waste bin along the side of the road. The victim, originally hailing from Hyderabad, India, had been residing in Point Cook, Australia, with her husband and young son.

Discovery of the Body

The shocking discovery was made after authorities received an anonymous call directing them to an isolated road in rural Victoria. Upon arrival, police found Swetha’s body inside a green waste bin in Buckley, about 37 kilometres west of Geelong. The scene was marked by a sense of desolation, with the bin partially concealed in the bush, and a bundle of white material strewn nearby.

Suspicions of Foul Play

Investigators are treating Swetha’s death as suspicious and have established a crime scene both at the location where her body was found and her residence in Point Cook. It is believed that the perpetrator was acquainted with the victim, with suspicions pointing towards her husband, who allegedly fled to Hyderabad after the incident, leaving their child in the care of Swetha’s parents.

Swetha’s untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the local communities in Melbourne’s west and beyond. Known for her friendly and outgoing nature, she was an active member of various social circles in the area. The Melbourne Telanganga Forum expressed deep sorrow over the loss, highlighting Swetha’s positive impact on those around her.

Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy has intervened on behalf of the victim’s family, urging authorities to expedite the process and ensure justice is served for Swetha.

While no arrests have been made thus far, the Victoria Police reassured the public that there is no immediate threat to the community. The quest for justice for Swetha continues, as her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew her.
