The Ford Focus, driven by the 23-year-old woman, was traveling south on Seaview Avenue and attempted to pass through the intersection of Seaview Avenue and Connecticut Avenue. It was at this moment that the vehicle was struck by the Audi A4, operated by a 33-year-old woman traveling west on Connecticut Avenue.

Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, with ambulance crews and Bridgeport firefighters working tirelessly to extract the occupants from the vehicles. The 23-year-old woman and her three passengers were rushed to Bridgeport Hospital for urgent medical attention.
