Two Killed in Separate Robbery Incidents in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Two individuals lost their lives in separate robbery incidents in the capital city on Saturday, according to police reports.

Delivery Boy Fatally Shot in Macca Town

In the first tragic incident, Mohammad Arsalan, a delivery boy, was fatally shot by criminals while being robbed in the Macca Town area. The incident occurred in close proximity to his residence as he was returning home after completing his work duties.

Initial investigations suggest that unidentified individuals intercepted Arsalan and opened fire, causing him to sustain severe bullet wounds to his back and shoulder. Upon hearing the gunshots, bystanders rushed to the scene and discovered Arsalan lying injured on the roadside.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered at the Bharakahu police station against the assailants responsible for this heinous crime.

Man Injured and Robbed in Koral

In a separate incident, robbers shot and injured Mohammad Safir during a robbery in the Koral area. The perpetrators brandished firearms and demanded Safir to surrender his cash and valuables.

Despite Safir complying with their demands, the robbers callously shot him in the leg, causing him to collapse on the road. The culprits fled the scene with the stolen cash and valuables, leaving Safir in a critical condition.

The authorities are actively investigating both incidents to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure justice is served for the victims and their families.
