Details of the Incident

According to family members, Faisal initially seemed stable but started experiencing breathlessness after being moved to the ward the next day. They claimed that the hospital lacked a ventilator, and to their dismay, the doctor allegedly abandoned Faisal’s case and fled with his file instead of providing immediate care. Outraged by the turn of events, the family is demanding a thorough investigation and accountability for the doctor’s actions.

Hospital’s Response

On the other hand, a senior official at SMHS revealed that Faisal had been transferred from a private hospital in critical condition, with no pulse or blood pressure upon arrival. It was discovered that he had a perforated intestine, requiring a high-risk surgery that the family consented to despite Faisal’s unstable state. Following his unfortunate demise, tensions rose among the family members, leading to accusations against the doctor who had left the scene for his own safety.

The hospital official assured that a comprehensive inquiry is underway, with a commitment to taking appropriate action if any negligence is uncovered. The tragic incident has shaken the community, underscoring the importance of accountability and transparency in medical care.
