Tragic Death of Azusa Man in Pasadena Apartment
An Azusa man tragically lost his life in a Pasadena apartment, with authorities suspecting foul play as the cause of death. The incident took place late in the evening at an apartment building on the 100 block of North Catalina Avenue, near Union Street. Paramedics rushed to the scene upon receiving a distress call at 10:57 p.m. on Friday, but unfortunately, their efforts were in vain as the man was pronounced dead on-site, identified as 35-year-old Desmond Terence Murrell.

Investigation Underway
Pasadena police Lt. Keith Gomez revealed that during the initial investigation, it was evident that the victim had been physically assaulted before his medical emergency. Robbery/homicide detectives have taken charge of the case to unravel the motive behind the attack.
