Fort Worth Police Seek Information on Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident in Northwest Fort Worth

Fort Worth police are appealing to the public for any information or video footage related to a tragic hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a 33-year-old man early Saturday morning. The incident took place in the 4900 block of Parkview Hills Lane in the northwest area of Fort Worth.

Authorities responded to the scene shortly after 6:45 a.m. and discovered the victim, identified as Joseph Alexander Taylor Harris, lying in the middle of the intersection of Parkview Hills Lane and Brookstone Lane. Despite efforts to save him, Harris succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

According to police reports, it appears that Harris was struck by a vehicle whose driver callously fled the scene without offering any assistance. The Homicide and Traffic Units are currently conducting an investigation into the incident, but as of now, no suspects have been identified.
