BEAUMONT — The Beaumont Police Department received a distressing call at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, prompting officers to rush to the scene of a devastating motorcycle crash in the 400 block of South 4th Street.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered two lifeless bodies in a nearby parking lot.

Initial investigations unveiled that a motorcycle had been travelling at an excessive speed in a northerly direction along 4th Street.
