Accident – Death – Obituary News : Five persons, including a young boy, tragically lost their lives in a devastating road accident near Araku valley on the Loteru route. The incident occurred late Friday night when three motorbikes collided, resulting in the fatal outcome. The victims were on their way to Nandivalasa to partake in Mahashivaratri celebrations.

The deceased have been identified as Buridi Hari (22), Ammanakanth (15) of Chinalabudu panchayat, Trinath (32), Bhargav (5), and Gubai Simhadri of Manjaguda village in Loteru panchayat. Additionally, four individuals sustained injuries in the collision. Kontali Mohan Rao was hospitalized with severe injuries at KGH in Vizag, while Killo Parasuram, Sujith Kumar of Chinalabudu, and Killo Santosh of R Dumbriguda are currently receiving treatment at Araku valley hospital.

The tragic accident took place on the Araku-Loteru route between Dummagudri and Ganjayaguda in Madala panchayat, approximately 7 km away from Araku. The collision occurred when two speeding motorbikes collided head-on, leading to a third motorcycle from Loteru village side hitting the fallen bikes due to poor visibility in the area.

Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. Araku Circle Inspector Ch. Rudra Sekhar is overseeing the ongoing investigation into the incident.
