Windsor Police Issue Arrest Warrant for Michael Scott Blythe in Connection to Break and Enter Cases

Windsor police have issued an arrest warrant for a city man in relation to a series of break and enter investigations.

According to authorities, between July 2023 and February 2024, break-ins were reported at seven businesses located in the 4000-7000 blocks of Tecumseh Road East, between Central Avenue and Lauzon Parkway.

During each incident, the suspect gained entry to the premises through a rear door or window and proceeded to steal the cash register and various other items.

Michael Scott Blythe identified as Suspect

The individual believed to be responsible for these crimes has been identified as Michael Scott Blythe, aged 57.

Described as a white male standing at 5’7” with a medium build and brownish-grey hair, Blythe is currently wanted on charges related to the break-ins.

Additionally, it is suspected that Blythe may be travelling in a 2008 beige Dodge Caravan.

Charges Against Michael Scott Blythe

Michael Scott Blythe is facing charges of break and enter to commit theft over $5,000, as well as six counts of break and enter to commit theft under $5,000. In addition, he is also charged with possession of break-in instruments.
