Man Arrested for Heckling President Biden at State of the Union Address
A man was removed and arrested by Capitol Police officers after he heckled President Biden during his State of the Union address on Thursday night. The incident took place at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C.

The heckler, identified as 51-year-old Steven Nikoui, shouted “Abbey Gate!” before he was escorted out of the gallery by police. Nikoui’s son, U.S. Marine Kareem Nikoui, was tragically killed in a suicide bombing at Abbey Gate outside Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, in 2021.
