Six Sri Lankan nationals, including a two-and-a-half-month-old baby girl and three other children, were tragically stabbed to death in Ottawa, Canada. The suspect, identified as 19-year-old Febrio De-Zoysa, has been charged with six counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. The police chief, Eric Stubbs, described the incident as a “senseless act of violence” that targeted innocent people.

The victims, who had recently arrived in Canada, included a 35-year-old mother, a 7-year-old son, a 4-year-old daughter, a 2-year-old daughter, and the two-and-a-half-month-old baby girl, as well as a 40-year-old acquaintance of the family.
