Murder Arrest Made in Madison County, Alabama

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama has announced the arrest of Kyle Hayden Lewter, 36, in connection with the murder of 54-year-old Derek Franklin Walls. The incident took place at 1790 Capshaw Road in the Harvest community, where deputies responded to a report of a deceased male.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials discovered the body of Walls inside the residence. It was determined that there had been a physical altercation between Walls and Lewter, who were known to each other, resulting in Walls’ death.

Lewter was taken into custody and charged with murder. He has been transported to the Madison County Jail, where he is being held without the possibility of posting bond under Aniah’s Law.
