Windsor Man Identified as Homicide Victim in Chatham-Kent

A man from Windsor has been tragically identified as the victim in what Chatham-Kent police are now investigating as a homicide.

According to a statement from the police, officers were called to Towanda Boulevard in Erie Beach at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of the victim.

The victim has since been identified as Michael Allard, a 40-year-old man from Windsor. The police have confirmed that they are treating his death as a murder.

Authorities have stated that Allard’s death appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no immediate threat to the public. However, they are urging anyone with information or surveillance footage related to the case to come forward and assist in the investigation.
