POMONA, Calif. (Gray News) – A heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded in Pomona, California, on Saturday night as three women lost their lives in a devastating crash with an alleged drunken driver. The victims, identified as Lorena Morales, Alejandra Olaez, and Yesenia Olaez, were returning home from a joyful baby shower when their lives were cut short.

According to a release from the Pomona Police Department, the two-vehicle collision resulted in “moderate to severe injuries” for all individuals involved. Juan Manuel Garcia, Lorena Morales, Alejandra Olaez, Yesenia Olaez, and Alejandra’s 12-year-old daughter Noemi were travelling in one vehicle at the time of the accident.

Tragically, two people lost their lives at the scene of the crash, while three others were rushed to the hospital for urgent medical treatment. Morales, Alejandra Olaez, and Yesenia Olaez were later confirmed as the deceased victims, leaving their loved ones devastated by the sudden loss.
