Mother and Daughter Found Shot Dead in Worcester

A tragic incident unfolded in Worcester, Massachusetts, when a mother and daughter were discovered shot inside a bullet-riddled vehicle on Tuesday. The shocking discovery was made by officers responding to a report of gunshots in the area of Lisbon Street and Englewood Avenue.

Details of the Incident

Upon arrival at the scene just after 3 p.m., law enforcement found two female victims inside a parked SUV. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, both the mother and daughter were pronounced dead. At this time, their identities have not been released to the public.

The SUV, which was towed away from the crime scene, bore more than a dozen bullet holes in the driver’s side windows. Sgt. Sean Murtha of the Worcester Police Department described the incident as a “very violent act,” noting that a significant number of shots were fired into the vehicle.
