Two Women Shot and Killed in Worcester identified as Mother and Daughter

In a tragic incident in Worcester, two women were shot and killed in what police have described as an ambush. The victims, confirmed by Worcester Police to be a mother and daughter, were sitting in a parked SUV on Lisbon Street near Englewood Avenue when their vehicle was targeted in a hail of gunfire just after 3 p.m.

Both women were rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to their injuries. The police, in a brief statement, did not disclose the names or ages of the victims.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and authorities are yet to determine a motive for the attack. Following the shooting, over 40 evidence markers were placed at the scene by the police.
