A Staten Island Woman Charged in Fatal Crash in Greenville

A tragic incident occurred in Greenville last month, resulting in the loss of a young woman’s life. Amanda Rivera, a 28-year-old woman from Staten Island, has been charged in connection with a fatal crash that took place on Route 185 near Linden Avenue East. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on February 3, when Rivera’s 2019 Nissan sedan collided with the rear of a parked and unoccupied tractor-trailer.

According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, Rivera was driving while intoxicated at the time of the crash.
