Tragic Murder of Pregnant Amish Woman Shocks Community in Pennsylvania

Rebekah Byler, a pregnant Amish woman, was found brutally murdered inside her Pennsylvania home last week. According to court documents, her throat was slit open and she had a “scalping type wound” on her head.

On February 26, Rebekah’s husband, 24-year-old Andy Byler, and a family friend named Julie Warner, returned to their residence in Sparta Township only to discover Rebekah’s lifeless body. She was found lying on her back in a pool of blood in the living room.

Tragically, Rebekah’s two young children, aged 2 and 3, were also in the house at the time of the gruesome discovery but were fortunately unharmed in the attack.

In addition to the horrific injuries mentioned above, Rebekah, who was six months pregnant, also suffered a gunshot wound. Investigators recovered three firearms, bullets, two spent casings, and broken knife parts from the crime scene.
