East Palo Alto, a vibrant community in California, was recently rocked by a tragic stabbing incident that resulted in the first homicide of the year. The incident occurred on February 8 near University Avenue and Bell Street, leaving one man dead and another in critical condition.

The victim, identified as Frank Finney, succumbed to his injuries at Stanford Hospital, while the other victim continues to fight for his life. East Palo Alto police have released surveillance footage in hopes of finding leads to apprehend the perpetrator responsible for this senseless act of violence.
Desperate Search for Clues
The surveillance video shows a white SUV parked on the road, with the occupants likely witnessing the attack on Frank Finney. Despite their efforts, the police have yet to uncover any substantial leads in the case and are appealing to the public for assistance.
The surviving victim described the suspect as having a mustache and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, providing some insight into the perpetrator’s appearance. In a bid to encourage witnesses to come forward, Mothers Against Murder – Advocating for Victims of Violence has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the culprit within the next 90 days.
