Upon receiving notification of the shooting, officers swiftly responded to the scene where they discovered the victim, identified as 29-year-old Bryson Rodgers, who had sustained critical gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, Rodgers tragically succumbed to his injuries at a nearby medical facility.
The alleged gunman fled the area following the shooting, prompting a city-wide search for the suspect.
Suspect Surrenders to Authorities
On Monday, Karlove Palmer, aged 29, voluntarily surrendered himself to the Tarrant County jail, in connection to the fatal shooting. As of the latest update at 9 p.m., online jail records did not display Palmer’s bail information. He now faces a murder charge as the investigation continues.
