Murder Investigation Launched in Mohave County

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives have launched an investigation into a homicide that took place on Sunday (3/3) in the 3100 block of Butler Ave. The incident involved a female victim, Marie Ann Noelani Garcia, aged 30, from Kingman, who was found with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene.

Suspect identified

Following their initial investigation, detectives have identified Nicholas Ray Volk, aged 32 and also from Kingman, as the suspect in this tragic incident. It has been revealed that Volk fled the scene in a tan Jeep, which has since been located. The authorities have issued a warning that Volk should be considered armed and dangerous.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is appealing to the public for any information regarding the whereabouts of Nicholas Volk. Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the authorities at 928-753-0753 or call the toll-free number at 1-800-522-4312, quoting the reference DR# 24-008044.
