Accident – Death – Obituary News : The tragic incident took place in the serene village of Gonala in Lakshmeshwar Taluk, Gadag District, Karnataka. It is here that Manjunath Theli, a 26-year-old young man, found himself entangled in a web of debts after borrowing money to purchase a tractor. The pressure of repayment weighed heavily on him, leading to a series of unfortunate events that shook the entire community.

As the sun rose on a fateful Monday, Manjunath made his way to Yalvigi Railway Station in Haveri, driven by a sense of despair. His mother, Renavva, rushed to the scene in a desperate attempt to save her son from taking his own life. Tragically, both mother and son were crushed under the wheels of an oncoming train, leaving behind a void that would never be filled.

Meanwhile, back at their home in Gonala Village, another family member, Savakka Theli, received the devastating news of Manjunath and Renavva’s demise. Overwhelmed by grief and the weight of the situation, she made the unbearable decision to end her own life by hanging herself. The quiet village was now engulfed in a cloud of sorrow and disbelief, as the news of the triple tragedy spread like wildfire.

The Railway police swiftly arrived at the scene, their hearts heavy with the burden of such senseless loss. The lifeless bodies of Manjunath, Renavva, and Savakka were tenderly carried away, their souls now at rest but their memory forever etched in the minds of those who knew them.

In a separate, equally heart-wrenching incident, a family in Karibeeranahosahalli Village of Hosakote Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, faced a similar fate. Mariyappa, a 70-year-old patriarch, his wife Muniyamma, aged 60, and their daughter Bharathi, 40, tragically drowned in an agricultural pit on their farm. What started as a routine task of washing hands after a meal turned into a nightmare as Bharathi slipped and fell, prompting her parents to heroically jump in after her, only to meet the same watery grave.

As the fire personnel retrieved the lifeless bodies from the pit, the somber reality of the situation sank in. The close-knit community of Karibeeranahosahalli was left reeling from the loss of three beloved members, their hearts heavy with sorrow and unanswered questions.
