The assailants unleashed a barrage of over 50 blows on Dakota, pulling her hair, pouring an energy drink over her, and leaving her with a black eye and head injuries. The victim’s mother revealed that a paramedic counted the number of blows to Dakota’s head, which exceeded 55.

According to a report by Nine News, the attackers found the assault amusing, showing a complete lack of empathy for the severity of their actions. The attack was only halted when a passerby intervened, and Dakota was rushed to the hospital to recover from the traumatic ordeal.

Impact on Dakota

Described by her mother as shy and timid, Dakota had been gradually gaining confidence before the brutal attack shattered her newfound self-assurance. The incident has left Dakota terrified to leave the house, including for school, as she grapples with the emotional and physical aftermath of the assault.

Her mother expressed her helplessness at witnessing her daughter endure such a horrific ordeal, stating that Dakota refuses to return to school following the traumatic incident. Despite the attackers being known to Dakota, the police have yet to make any arrests in connection to the assault.
