Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir: A Tragic Accident Claims Four Lives

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a fatal accident occurred in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the loss of four lives and leaving three others injured. The incident took place on Monday, March 4, when a Tata Sumo vehicle, with registration number JK19-1401, was traveling from Maligam to Ukhral.

Details of the Accident

The vehicle skidded off the road at Abass Morh near Maligam due to slippery conditions, causing it to overturn. The driver of the vehicle and three passengers lost their lives in the accident, while three other individuals sustained injuries. The local authorities, along with the help of locals, immediately launched a rescue operation to assist the victims.

Victims and Identification

The deceased have been identified as Ayoub Ahmed, Abdul Waheed Bali, Anaitullah Runyal, and Driver Naveed Ahmed Chopan. The injured individuals include Irfan Ahmed, Nasir Katoch, and Zahida Banoo. All necessary legal formalities are being carried out, and the injured have been taken to the Primary Health Center Ukhral for treatment.
