Motorcycle Accident in Gaithersburg Leaves One Dead

Last week, tragedy struck in Gaithersburg, Maryland, as Montgomery County Police investigated a fatal collision that took place at the intersection of Snouffer School Road and Centerway Road. The incident occurred on Thursday, February 29th, just after 3:00 PM.

Details of the Incident

According to authorities, the crash involved an Acura MDX that was traveling westbound on Snouffer School Road and attempting to make a left turn onto Centerway Road. It collided with a motorcycle that was traveling eastbound, resulting in the operator of the motorcycle being ejected from the vehicle.

The victim, identified as 35-year-old Anthony Bernard Lee from Damascus, was rushed to a nearby hospital following the collision. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the medical facility.

Investigation Ongoing

Montgomery County Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision. The driver of the Acura was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries, as authorities work to determine the cause of the tragic incident.
