Florida Duo Arrested for Luring, Beating, and Robbing 73-Year-Old Victim in Daytona Beach

A shocking incident unfolded in Daytona Beach, Florida, where a 73-year-old man fell victim to a cruel scheme orchestrated by a duo that resulted in a brutal beating and robbery. The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office reported that the victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was lured by Chelsea Wright, 34, to her residence under the guise of discussing their romantic relationship.

The victim recounted that as he followed Wright in his vehicle, she made an unexpected stop to pick up her associate and ex-boyfriend, Andrew Marks, 33, on the side of the road. Little did the victim know that this encounter would soon turn into a nightmare.

The Violent Attack

Upon reaching a secluded spot, Marks emerged from the vehicle, wielding a hard metal object, and launched a vicious assault on the unsuspecting victim. The brutal attack left the victim with severe injuries to his head, torso, and arms, requiring medical attention that included staples in his head and a swollen eye.
