Everett is believed to be involved in the fatal shooting of William Tempesta, 56, of Deltona, Florida, on Oct. 10, 2023. Tempesta was shot inside a car and his body was later found dumped along 45th Street in West Palm Beach. Authorities have revealed that Everett has a history of arrests and convictions related to assault, drug, and weapons charges. The arrest was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Macon.
According to Sheriff Bill Massee, the arrest was a result of an “excellent working relationship” with the task force. Lt. Chris Spires, who has been attached to the task force for several years, played a crucial role in the apprehension of the suspect.
