Young Girl identified as Casualty in Fatal Two-Car Accident in Kuala Krai

KUALA KRAI, 2nd March — Tragedy struck earlier today on Jalan Kuala Krai-Gua Musang near Kampung Pahi, as a two-car accident claimed the lives of three individuals, including a young girl.

The Chief of the Kuala Krai Fire and Rescue Department, Nik Ahmad Afsham Nik Pa, reported that the emergency call came in at 1.38 pm, detailing a collision between a Nissan March and a Perodua Myvi.

The victims in the Perodua Myvi, who tragically lost their lives at the scene, were identified as a local man, a woman, and a young girl. Additionally, two other children sustained injuries and were promptly taken to Kuala Krai Hospital for treatment.

Occupants of the Nissan March, a man and a woman, fortunately only suffered minor injuries and were rescued by bystanders before the fire department’s arrival. The exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation by authorities. — Bernama
