Advocate Sunil Sharma, the patron of the Young Advocates Association, had been under investigation in connection with a case registered against him. As the police conducted a raid to apprehend him, Sharma attempted to evade capture by hiding in another flat within the apartment complex.
During the raid, Sharma accidentally fell from the 8th floor of the building, resulting in fatal injuries. Despite efforts to rush him to the hospital, doctors at SN Medical College declared him dead upon arrival.

DCP City Suraj Rai confirmed that the investigation into the incident is ongoing, with authorities reviewing CCTV footage to ascertain the sequence of events leading to Sharma’s tragic demise. The case against Sharma stemmed from allegations of fraudulent land acquisition, kidnapping, and forced deed of sale filed by Manoj Kumar Sharma.
According to reports, the plaintiff Manoj Kumar Sharma accused the advocate of involvement in his kidnapping outside Diwani on January 31, 2024. The case also named four other individuals in connection with the alleged crimes.
