Gulfport Police Arrest Suspect in Armed Robbery Case

On the evening of February 23, officers from the Gulfport Police Department responded to a call regarding an armed robbery at a business located in the 2000 block of East Pass Road. The suspect, later identified as Milki Mussa Ibrahim, entered the establishment wielding a firearm and demanded money from the employees.

Following the robbery, Ibrahim fled the scene with the stolen cash. However, thanks to the diligent work of detectives, Ibrahim was apprehended on February 29 when the Gulfport Police Department SWAT team executed a search warrant at his residence.

During the search of Ibrahim’s home, officers discovered a firearm alongside identifying documents belonging to him. Ibrahim was promptly taken into custody and transported to the Gulfport Police Department for further questioning.

Upon arrival at the police department, Ibrahim attempted to escape by slipping his handcuffs and fleeing from officers. However, his escape was short-lived as law enforcement quickly recaptured him. In a bizarre turn of events, Ibrahim also tried to climb through the ceiling tiles in the interview room in a further attempt to evade capture.
