Two Men Arrested in Connection to Car Chase in Laredo, TX
LAREDO, TX. (KGNS) – Two individuals have been apprehended in relation to a high-speed pursuit that resulted in a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper being injured earlier this week.
Following an extensive investigation, DPS successfully detained the driver, identified as Miguel Alberto Nolaceo, aged 20, as well as his younger brother Christopher Nolaceo, aged 17.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, on Mines Road just prior to 4 p.m.
According to DPS officials, a trooper attempted to halt a silver Chrysler 200 suspected of involvement in human trafficking.

The driver of the Chrysler, now known as Nolaceo, declined to stop, prompting a pursuit.
During the chase, a tractor trailer driver attempted to assist by driving on the opposite side of the road; unfortunately, the trooper collided with the trailer on San Mateo near San Gabriel Drive.
The injured trooper was transported to a medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries, while Nolaceo managed to flee the scene.
With the assistance of the DPS Criminal Investigations Division, authorities were able to track down and arrest both Alberto Nolaceo and Christopher Nolaceo.
Both individuals are now facing charges related to human trafficking and evading arrest using a motor vehicle.
