ARSON
On the 29th of February at 1:30 p.m., Fire Marshal D.M. Pappas was called to Rodney Thompson Middle School in response to an arson incident. Staff at the school had discovered camera footage from the 27th of February showing a student setting fire to personal items. The student was apprehended with the lighter in question and is now facing criminal charges.
FORGERY
A series of forgery incidents took place at various Sheetz locations in Staffordshire County on the 29th of February. Deputy I.E. Baldi investigated a report at the Sheetz on Washington Square Plaza where a male suspect used a counterfeit bill for gas payment. Subsequent investigations revealed additional incidents involving counterfeit bills used by a female suspect for a gift card purchase and exchange for money through CashApp at different Sheetz locations.
LARCENY
Multiple larceny incidents were reported on the 29th of February in Staffordshire County. Deputy J.J. Holetzky responded to a theft at 7-Eleven, where a male suspect stole various snack items. Additionally, Deputy J.A. Buzzard investigated multiple larcenies at Genesis Nursing Home, including vehicle break-ins and theft of purses. Security footage identified a black male suspect wearing a light-colored sweatshirt and black pants.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer in Manassas
During the early hours of March 1st at 12:19 AM, law enforcement officers in the vicinity of the 8300 block of Sudley Road near Manassas (20109) encountered an individual walking in the roadway. The individual, later identified as Isaiah James Allen ROBINSON, was found to be intoxicated and was subsequently detained without further incident.
However, upon arrival at the Adult Detention Center (ADC), the situation took a turn for the worse. While being processed, Robinson resisted arrest by striking, kicking, and spitting at the officers. Additional ADC staff and officers were called in to assist in subduing Robinson. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the altercation.
Following an investigation, Isaiah James Allen ROBINSON, aged 19 and residing at 8348 Harts Mill Rd. in Warrenton, was arrested. He is facing charges that include assault on a law enforcement officer, obstruction of justice, possession of alcohol by a minor, and public intoxication. Robinson’s court date is pending, and information regarding his bond is currently unavailable.
