Accident – Death – Obituary News : St. James, MN (KROC-AM News)- A collision involving two semi trucks has resulted in a southeast Minnesota truck driver being hospitalized. The incident took place on Hwy. 60, with the State Patrol responding to the crash just before 8:45 p.m. on Thursday.

According to the state crash report, the collision occurred when a westbound semi, driven by 39-year-old Corey Lee Stewart of Brownsdale, crashed into a semi that was crossing the four-lane highway east of St. James in Watonwan County. Stewart sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The other truck driver, identified as 50-year-old Iryna Kozachuk of Ohio, was fortunately unharmed in the crash.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident, and alcohol was not a factor in the collision, as stated in the report.
