Tragic Incident in Noida: College Student Allegedly Choked to Death by Friends

In a chilling turn of events, a first-year BBA student, Yash Mittal, was reportedly choked to death by four of his friends following a dispute at a party in Noida. The incident took place in the Gajraula area of Amroha district in Uttar Pradesh, where the victim’s body was buried on a farmland.

Yash Mittal, a resident of Amroha studying at a university in Greater Noida, was reported missing by his father, Pradeep Mittal, on February 27. The young student had suddenly disappeared from the university campus the previous day, prompting his family to seek help from the Greater Noida Police.

Police Investigation and Arrests

Following the missing person’s report, the police launched an extensive investigation and formed multiple teams to track down Yash Mittal. Three out of the four accused individuals involved in the case, identified as Rachit, Shivam, and Sushant, have been apprehended, while the fourth, Shubham, is currently on the run.

During the investigation, a surveillance operation in the Gajraula district led to the arrest of one of the accused, Rachit. In his statement to the police, Rachit revealed that Yash had been invited to a party in Amroha on February 26, where a disagreement escalated into a fatal confrontation.

On the fateful night, Yash Mittal, along with Rachit and the other three men, ventured into a forest in the Tigriya region of Amroha. It was there that a dispute turned violent, resulting in Yash being strangled by his friends. The perpetrators then buried his body in a pit approximately six feet deep.
