The Disappearance and Investigation

Concerned about his son’s sudden absence, Pradeep Mittal promptly filed a missing person’s report with the Greater Noida Police. This set off a series of investigations led by dedicated police teams determined to uncover the truth behind Yash’s disappearance.

Through a surveillance operation in Gajraula district, the authorities managed to apprehend one of the suspects, Rachit, who provided crucial information about the events leading to Yash’s demise. According to Rachit, Yash had been invited to a party in Amroha on February 26, where a disagreement escalated into a fatal altercation.

The Tragic Turn of Events

Following the party, Yash, accompanied by Rachit and three other individuals, ventured into a forest in the Tigriya region of Amroha. It was there that the confrontation turned deadly, resulting in Yash being strangled and his body buried in a six-foot-deep pit. In a callous attempt to mislead the authorities, the perpetrators sent a fake kidnapping message to Yash’s family, demanding a ransom of Rs 6 crore.

With the help of the Dadri Police Station and SWAT team, Yash Mittal’s remains were recovered from the pit in the presence of his grief-stricken family. The Gajraula Police have initiated post-mortem procedures to shed light on the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.

Efforts are currently underway to apprehend the remaining three suspects who are evading the authorities. The police are leaving no stone unturned in their quest for justice for Yash Mittal and his devastated loved ones.
