On the afternoon of February 28, in the 1200 block of Hilton Parkway, Baltimore Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting incident.
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement found a 46-year-old male victim with multiple non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Following an investigation, a suspect was apprehended in connection with the shooting. The suspect was identified as 21-year-old Troy Barnes, residing on the 3000 block of Arunah Avenue in Baltimore.
Initial findings suggest that the victim and the suspect were involved in a road rage altercation that escalated, resulting in the suspect firing multiple shots at the victim.
Subsequently, Troy Barnes was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with attempted first-degree murder.
